Known as the Galápagos of the Caribbean, Mona is a limestone island pierced by many caves and populated by a unique flora and fauna. Come to Mona and hear the legends and stories of a rich past as lived by Taíno indians, pirates, and guano harvesters.
The secluded Island of Mona, known as the ultimate lost paradise, is located 45 miles off the west coast of Puerto Rico and is a natural reserve.
This exciting expedition begins with a charter boat trip to Mona Island, where we will set our camping site in a beautiful and secluded beach.
Mona Island is one of the places with the most caves and caverns by square mile in the planet. We will explore the thrilling Lirios Cave and take an expeditious walk to the Faro (Old Lighthouse).
